Tara Failey is the Communication & Education Intern at U.S. Global Change Research Program. She helps promote web-based communication for USGCRP, which includes producing stories and news updates. Tara also assists in the development of specific outreach tools and resources, including brochures, posters, and presentations.

Recently, Tara worked at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in the Office of the Secretary where she worked to advance HHS Go Green Get Healthy initiatives. While there, she promoted sustainability and wellness campaigns, and worked to develop environmental justice and sustainability trainings for HHS employees.

She received a B.A. in English Literature from Wittenberg University, and is currently pursuing an M.P.H. in Environmental Health Science and Policy at The George Washington University.
