Samantha Brooks interns at USGCRP and serves as the Inform Decisions and Adaptation Science intern. She works with the Inform Decisions and Adaptation Science Program lead to improve the availability of integrated and translated climate science and data for decision makers in an effort to better inform adaptation and mitigation decisions across the country.

She also assists in the development of USGCRP’s annual report to Congress, Our Changing Planet, which highlights interagency climate change research and activities conducted throughout USGCRP.

Samantha’s academic background is in international environmental policy with a particular focus on climate change. She holds a B.A. in International Relations from James Madison University and is completing her M.A. in Global Environmental Policy at American University.
