NASA, on behalf of the U.S. Global Change Research Program, has issued a Federal Register Notice (FRN) seeking author nominations and scientific/technical inputs for NCA5. The document also serves as a notice of planned public engagement opportunities. Refer to the FRN for the full text.

Prospective authors nominated through this call may be invited to serve as Chapter Lead Authors, Authors, or Technical Contributors to NCA5. For more information on author roles, see www.globalchange.gov/nca5.

In addition, USGCRP is seeking submissions of relevant scientific and/or technical publications, including peer-reviewed and published literature (or literature that has been accepted for publication), as well as regional and topical information and information for cross-cutting or new topics since the previous assessment.

Responses provided through a request for comment on the NCA5 Draft Prospectus (presented in a previous FRN and accessible via www.globalchange.gov/nca5) were used to shape the chapter topic lists in this solicitation. Please see the previous FRN for additional information on the scope and overarching themes for the report.

All nominations must be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on November 14, 2020. For best consideration, please submit any technical inputs by the close of this notice. To register and access the submission form, click HERE to enter existing credentials or create a new account.
