Alexa Jay

As Senior Science Writer / Editor, Alexa Jay oversees the development of annual reporting, and helps to create outreach and other program materials.

Prior to joining USGCRP, Alexa held positions with the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture, and Food Security and the International Research Institute for Climate and Society. She also served previously as a Program Specialist for Strategic Planning at USGCRP. She has experience in a number of communications roles, and specializes in research, scientific translation, and program management.

Alexa holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Wesleyan University, and an M.A. in Climate and Society from Columbia University.
