Staff Specialist, National Climate Assessment

Izzy serves as the National Climate Assessment (NCA) Staff Specialist. In her role, she provides support for coordination and execution of NCA-related outreach and engagement activities. She will also serve as the point of contact for several chapters of the Sixth National Climate Assessment (NCA6).

Prior to her role at USGCRP, Izzy worked in regional government supporting environmental and community planning efforts. She also has a background in green infrastructure research, community engagement, volunteer management, and food systems sustainability.

Izzy has an Honors BS in Environmental and Sustainability Studies and an Honors BA in Urban Ecology from the University of Utah. Her honors thesis focused on impacts of green infrastructure on the University of Utah campus and Red Butte Creek.
